EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR: Peter Akugizibwe Araali
Professional work experience:
Peter Akugizibwe is a distinguished journalist and environmentalist with eighteen years of dynamic experience in the broadcast media industry, including a decade in senior editorial and managerial roles. As the Executive Director of Western Media for Environment and Conservation (WEMECO), a leading non-governmental organization dedicated to environmental issues, Peter has spearheaded numerous impactful initiatives. His leadership at WEMECO has significantly advanced environmental awareness and conservation efforts in the Albertine region.
Peter's career includes pivotal roles such as Manager at Biiso FM in Buliisa, Assistant News Editor at Uganda Community Green Radio in Hoima, and prominent positions as news anchor and program presenter at UBC Radio and TV. His extensive experience is complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Media Management and a suite of professional certifications.
In addition to his role at WEMECO, Peter is a seasoned freelance environmental journalist. His work in multimedia and editorial management has earned him recognition in both local and international circles. Peter is well-equipped to tackle new professional challenges and continue his influential work in journalism and environmental advocacy.
IT OFICER: Vincent Wamundu
Professional work experience:
Boasts over 9 years of experience in Video Editing and Graphics, with notable achievements including editing documentaries for the Prime Minister’s Office and producing programs, stories, adverts, and announcements for Uganda Broadcasting Corporation (UBC). He is proficient in Adobe Master Collection, Sony X-PRI System, AVID Liquid, Final Cut, and other technical tools.
He possesses a diverse skill set including adept time management, a strong team player mentality, a knack for innovation, and self-motivation that propels him towards achieving his goals.
PROGRAM MANAGER: kennedy Mugume
Professional work experience:
He is an Environmentalist and a human Rights activist who has a demonstrated ability in project design, implementation and results tracking for the past nine years. His accustomed to work with local and international NGOs whose core values and their donors require staff who are fast- paced, highly self-driven sharp, attentive to detail, excellently transparent, and outstanding communication skills.
His career development begun with community agribusiness capacity services (CABCS) working as a community trainer where he helped farmers’ cooperatives to develop business plans, conducted training on value addition and post-harvest handling techniques among the coffee farmers in Kasese district.
Through the office of the prime minister, Mr. Mugume Kennedy implemented the project titled Development Response to Displacement Impacts Project (DRDIP) funded by World Bank. The project aims at Sustainable Environment and Natural Resource Management in Refugees host communities.
He has also worked with Global Rights Alert as a lead implementer for the three years project titled, “Promoting community interests in the extractives sector developments” funded by the DGF. This project was implemented in eleven oil and gas host districts where he used to coordinate eleven (11) district local governments and projects affected persons to advocate for their interests.

She is a twelve-year old rich experienced self-motivated journalist as well as the best communicator. Through practice and exposure she possess excellent constructive communication with good conceptual and analytical skills and ability to integrate knowledge by God's Grace from different disciplines.
Sylvia is highly organized, hardworking and an excellent team player who is willing to learn, listen
and work with innovative people, ever willing to work under minimum or no supervision and
ably to meet set deadlines however short they may be.
She is working at Uganda broadcasting corporation ever since July 2016 to date as one of the best Radio presenter / Reporter.

ENVIROMENTAL OFFICER: Mary Kyakuwa

Professional work experience:
Mary kyakuwa is a trained environmentalist from makerere University Kampala and holds a diploma in Mass communication from Kampala university. she first practiced her environment skills with journalist environmental association of Tanzania, where she would report environment stories in various media houses in Tanzania. She also worked with Envirocare as environment reporter wchich is a non governmental organisation in Tanzania between 2008 to 2009.
Mary also has done research with various NGOs in Uganda like IPSOS the best research company in Uganda. She has also exercised skills in journalism and communication at Uganda broadcasting corporation as presenter and reporter with the various radio station like former UBC blue radio now UBC west, voice of bundibugyo and currently works with radio newsroom.
GRAPHICS DESIGNER: Patrick Owino

His a dynamic and result oriented professional with more than 10 years of
experience in Graphics and Video Editing, specifically with in-depth knowledge of video production.
His an Expert in working with the latest video editing systems. Ability to visualize script into television program and proficient in using nonlinear and computerized video editing
systems. He has vast knowledgeable about theoretical and practical camera work
Professional Experience.
In 2008 he become the Video editor at WBS Television having responsibilities of Receiving a brief, and sometimes an outline of footage or a shot list, or screenplay, assembling all raw footage with the camera shots either recorded with camera in preparation for inputting into the computer, inputting uncut rushes and sound, synchronizing and storing them into files on computer.
From where joined UBC Television in Nov 2018 to date as a Graphics Editor/Video
