WEMECO operations are guided by three program areas which include; Research and publications, Media and Environmental governance, Gender inclusiveness;
- Research and publications; We create new knowledge on natural resources management and disseminate it through different platforms. We also use this knowledge to influence laws and policies that seek to address sustainable use of natural resources.
- Media and Environmental governance; We train journalists on Environmental reporting, conduct Media advocacy through documentaries, press conferences, Radio and Tv spot messages in different languages.
- Gender inclusiveness; Our work under this program is premised on involvements that challenge inequality, improving understanding of natural resource rights among men, women and young people, as well as advocacy for policies, laws and practices that are gender sensitive and compliant.
